A "HI" message appears if your test result is higher than 600 mg/dL, indicating extreme hyperglycemia. A "LO" message appears if the result is lower than 20 mg/dL, indicating severe hypoglycemia. In both cases, retest immediately and consult your healthcare professional.

How do I calibrate the On Call Plus meter when opening a new box of test strips?

Each new box of test strips comes with a dedicated Code Chip. Simply insert this chip into the slot on the side/back of the meter before testing to ensure the digital code on the screen matches the number printed on the strip vial for maximum accuracy.

How long are the test strips valid after opening the vial?

Test strips must be used within 6 months after first opening the vial. Always close the vial cap tightly immediately after removing a strip to protect the remaining strips from humidity.

Can this glucose meter be shared among multiple users?
